Litesum Enhance

Version 0.8.0
- Truer detail at 4×: Enhance now builds a 4× photograph in two careful 2× steps, each on the network made for 2×, so fine detail stays natural. A 4× enlargement takes about five times as long as before.
- Faces at 4× are enlarged on their own and blended back in, staying close to the person in the original. As always, check each face before you use the result.
- Skies, walls and soft backgrounds stay smooth, with no grain coming back.
- Photographs enlarged by the AI start with no extra sharpening, because the detail is already there. Sharpen is in the panel whenever you want more.
- Automatic noise reduction is gentler, so grainy photographs keep more of their real texture.
- Black and white stays black and white at every size, and a black-and-white photograph with a small coloured stamp or caption keeps just that colour.
Version 0.7.1
- A new window built around your photographs: the picture fills the window, the controls sit together in one panel, and your images run along a strip beneath.
- Single image and Batch in the same window, and every photograph keeps its own settings, crop, protected areas and result as you move between them.
- Output size in one place: 1× Original, 2×, 4× or Custom, with the finished size shown beneath.
- Batches say what they will do: Enhance remaining runs the images still to do, Enhance checked redoes the ones you tick, and every image shows its size and state.
- Choose where results go right beside the Enhance button.
- Enhance opens JPEG, PNG, WebP and TIFF photographs, and a file name containing % is exported exactly as named.

- Sharper enlargements at 2×: photographs now use a dedicated AI network that brings out fine detail such as hair, fabric and lettering, and black-and-white photographs stay black and white.
- A new look: a dark window in the colours of the rest of Litesum, with a new icon.
- A finished result opens at 100%, so you see its detail straight away.
- Change a setting while a photograph is being enhanced and the result tells you it was made with the earlier settings.
- Photographs added to a batch show how long they will take as soon as they are added.
Version 0.5.1
- About lists every AI network Enhance installs, face recovery's included, with its licence and origin.
- Screen readers hear both ways to repair a model, starting with the local rebuild that needs no internet connection.
- In a group photograph, each face in the face list has its own description, such as “upper right, second from the left of four”.

- Try a few first: Enhance three well-chosen images from a batch before committing to the whole folder.
- Retry failed runs only the images that did not finish, and the queue tells you how long the rest will take.
- A batch left running overnight keeps the computer awake until it is done, and a stopped batch picks up where it left off.
- Press a face in the face list to go straight to it, and step through the faces with Previous and Next.
- Every settings change, reset and image-type choice now behaves exactly as the controls say.

- A batch applies each photograph's own saved edit: its orientation, its crop and its protected areas.
- Every finished image is read back in full before the queue counts it as done.
- Saved edits reopen reliably on portrait, flipped and turned photographs.
- With the Protect brush chosen, dragging on the result paints a protected area.

- Photographs at 4× use Litesum's own fidelity-trained AI network, trained for faithfulness rather than invented texture.
- Detail synthesis turns Generative Photo into a dial, from 0 % (no AI at all) to 100 %.
- The AI models look after themselves: checked at every start and repaired from your own computer first.
- The panel estimates how long a job will take, from how fast your own computer has been.

Version 0.4.0
- A new Type tool that works the way you expect: click and type on the canvas, press Esc or Ctrl+Enter to finish, and use the Paragraph panel for alignment, indents and spacing.
- The tools' options bars were reworked, so each shows the options that tool actually uses. The Crop tool leaves a box you can adjust before you crop, and the Ruler can straighten a layer and crop it in one step.
- Drag a picture onto the window to open it, and after an export Photo tells you where the file went and can show it in its folder.
- Photo now uses the Inter typeface throughout, matching the rest of Litesum.

Version 0.2.2
- One bar across the top: the window's title bar and the Home, Apps and Help bar are now the same bar.
- Application icons sit centred on their cards, and the cards have a gentle sense of depth.
- Buttons in an application's colour carry dark labels, so they read clearly.
- A clear focus ring shows where the keyboard is, and switching tabs fades smoothly.
