Install the Litesum Launcher

Last reviewed 18 September 2026.

Short answer: The launcher is the one installer you download from litesum.com. It installs into your own user folder without administrator permission, signs your computer in, and installs the applications you choose.

Downloads open at launch. Today there is nothing to download; the download page says so and lists what each file will show — version, size and SHA-256 — when it appears.

At launch

  1. Download the launcher installer from litesum.com/download.
  2. Run it. It installs into your own user folder and never asks for administrator permission. Windows may warn that the publisher is not recognised while the installer is unsigned; see Windows says the publisher is not recognised.
  3. Open the launcher and sign in. It shows a short code; approve it on your account page. See Activate a computer.

What the launcher does

  • Signs the computer in once. Every Litesum application on that computer shares the activation.
  • Installs, updates and launches the applications from a signed catalogue, verifying each package before installing it.
  • Shows your membership, licence and registered computers.
  • Updates itself.

It does not store files in any cloud, because there is no cloud storage.

Applies to

Windows 10 or later, 64-bit. Reviewed 18 September 2026 against the Launcher's recorded behaviour.
