Activate a computer

Short answer: Sign in through the Litesum Launcher on the computer. It shows a code; on your account page choose Activate a computer, enter the code, give the computer a name, and approve it. Codes last 15 minutes. Activating says "this is my computer"; it does not need a membership, which is separate.

Steps

1. Open the Litesum Launcher on the computer and choose sign in. It shows a short code.
2. In a browser, sign in at account.litesum.com and choose Activate a computer.
3. Enter the code. The page shows the code and the computer's platform so you can recognise it.
4. Give the computer a name you will recognise later and choose Activate this computer.
5. Return to the launcher; it notices within a few seconds.

If the page shows a code you did not request, choose This isn't me — deny it. The page confirms the request was denied and the application on that computer shows it was refused. Then change your password.

"This code is not valid or has expired"

Codes last 15 minutes. Request a fresh one from the launcher and try again.

Both computers already in use

The page says: "Your account already has 2 active devices of the 2 allowed. Deactivate one on the Devices page, then try again." Remove one under Your computers, then look the code up again — codes last 15 minutes. See Remove or replace a computer.
