Working offline: the seven-day window

Short answer: Once a computer is activated it holds a signed licence that keeps every Litesum application working for up to seven days without contacting Litesum. Connecting again renews it quietly in the background.

What needs the internet

• Signing in and activating a computer.
• Renewing the licence, which the launcher does on its own when the computer is online.
• Downloading applications, updates and models.

What never does

Editing, enhancing, exporting and saving. Enhance was driven through a full workflow while every network socket it held was sampled four times a second — 196 samples, zero connections — and an automated audit fails its build if anyone adds a network call to the enhancement path.

If a computer stays offline longer

After seven days without renewal the licence expires and applications refuse paid work until the computer connects again and the launcher renews it. Nothing on the computer is changed. See Expired membership or expired local licence?.
