Licences & offline use
Remove or replace a computer
Last reviewed 18 September 2026.
Short answer: On your account page, open Your computers and choose Remove on the computer. Its place frees immediately. The Litesum applications on that computer keep working until their current licence runs out — at most seven days — and then stop saving and exporting. Nothing on the computer is deleted.
Steps
- Sign in at account.litesum.com and open Your computers.
- Find the computer. Two computers can have the same name, so check the short id, the platform and the dates.
- Choose Remove, then Yes, remove on the confirmation.
- To replace it, activate the new computer as in Activate a computer.
Why it keeps working for a while
Each computer holds a signed licence valid for up to seven days between online checks. Removing the computer from your account cannot reach a licence already issued to a disconnected machine, so the applications there run until that licence expires and cannot renew. That is the actual behaviour, stated plainly rather than promised as instant.
Reinstalling Windows
A reinstalled computer counts as a new one. Remove the old entry, then activate afresh.
Applies to
The account portal and the Launcher. Reviewed 18 September 2026 against the portal's devices page.
